Beloved Community Services Corporation is a 501 (3)(c) organization that was created to serve the educational, health & social services needs of underserved persons in Baltimore. Our direct services and programs are in the areas of education, job placement, food distribution, emergency funds, urban economic & commercial development, business incubation & community development.

Background

BCSC was founded in 2008 with the purpose of serving the Baltimore community by offering resources that transforms lives. Since then BCSC has serviced hundreds of families through its array of transformative resources in the areas of youth development, family stabilization, healthcare, science and research and commercial development of historic landmarks.

Mission

BCSC’s mission is to provide the tools necessary to bridge the knowledge, economic, educational, digital and political gap that causes many of the social issues that plague Baltimore.

Leadership

BCSC is led by Executive Director Rev. Dr. Alvin C. Hathaway, Sr., a trusted name in Baltimore’s religious and philanthropic community. Beloved’s board is comprised of seasoned leaders in the areas of business, development, finance and law.

Initiatives

BCSC is a local provider of United Way family stabilization funds. The program provides funds to families facing poverty and it helps them obtain access to housing, healthy, affordable food and healthcare, employment and a quality education. More…
